Apparel that's Got You Glowing

According to WEARABLESbusinessSTYLE, Volume 52, June 25, 2007...
"Researchers in the Netherlands have figured out how to take an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) that can display text, graphics or even animation, and integrate it into fabric in a way that's completely invisible, allowing the fabric to retain its softness and flexibility. Lumalive is a technology developed by Philips Research that can be connected to a computer to create dynamic text and graphic images.
"Promotionally speaking, numerous messages can be displayed on shirts or uniforms that use the technology. Additionally it can be used by safety professionals, such as highway and railroad workers, and police, fire and ambulance crews, to ensure instant visibility from the moment they arrive on the scene. Lumalive textiles are currently being developed for commercial use and are expected to be available before the end of the year."
