Trooper. Thomas L. Clardy graduated from the Massachusetts State Police Academy on April 21, 2005 and eventually was assigned to Division of Field Services Troop E, State Police Charlton. Trooper Clardy thrived as a “Road Trooper” and loved his job. Thomas Clardy was also a proud husband to Reisa Clardy and proud father to 7 children.

On the morning of March 16, Trooper Clardy started his shift as he had done countless times. His demeanor on what would become his last physical day with the Massachusetts State Police, was just like his first; enthusiastic, energetic and proud. Sadly, Trooper. Clardy, 44, was killed when a speeding vehicle crossed three travel lanes and struck the back of his cruiser during a traffic stop in Charlton.

Never forget…..Trooper Thomas L. Clardy – EOW: 16 March 2016
